The journal is where the bakers write about what they are working on: a new loaf, a recipe that took a year to get right, or the day the power went out at four in the morning and we baked by torchlight.

New posts appear about once a month. The recipes are written for a home kitchen and an ordinary oven, and every one of them has been tested by someone who is not a baker.
